HI EVERYBODY
I AM SAMPADA, A NEW GROUP MEMEBER. I AM FINDING VERY INTERESTING TO READ ALL THE DOUBTS/QUERIES/REQUIREMENT SHARED BY YOU.
Its a good learning process for me as I HAVE RECENTLY COMPLETED MY DIPLOMA IN HR FROM WELLINGKAR INSTITUTE.
Prsently I AM WORKING IN UltraTech Cement Limited (Aditya birla group) for last 2 years as an assistant cum Secretary to Asst. Vice President (Finance). And now looking forward to get a break in HR. But unfortunately i am not getting call. :cry: the hurdle is experience. I have experience of woking as assistant for more than 5 years. but it is not in HR (I have wrorked in MIS, Service dept, finance).
I would like to know what should i do to get a job in HR. I dont want to work on the current position but due to financial problem i can not leave the job also. I also desire to do MBA / PG Diploma in HR. but as said above due to financial problem first i am looking for a good job in HR.
Please guide me.

the problem you are facing is your work experience.... Though u have ur education done in hr field but since experience counts more than studying organisations may not be very keen to take you into Hr. But you can try to start from the lowest level in an organisation and then build your way up and for that you have to assure your interviewer that though you have experience in finance you still can be an asset to the company in the field of hr as well....Site him some instances from your personal experiences wherein you tackled an HR related issue smartly and thereby presenting your caase strongly as a HR and tell him that you realsied that you are good for Hr so u took up a course in hr.....ALL THE BEST

u can try approaching some banks or companies into financial sector to work as an H.R. professional.
they will be more than happy to take a person with H.R. qualification and finance experience.
