Hi My query is regarding the ESIC COVID-19 Relief Scheme.
Please clarify the following
1) The scheme states 90% of the average daily wages of the insured person (IP). Herein the daily wages are based on the minimum wage of the state in which of the deceased IP? Does daily wage include only basic or Basic +DA?
2) Has the cause of death be mentioned as COVID-19 in the death certificate then only are the IP dependents eligible.
3) Will the scheme be applicable to persons who are above the age of 58 or 59.
