I was working in Abu Dhabi 10 years back. I went on vacation and did not come back I resigned from India due to personal Reasons. I sent my resignation and Informed them and The company has accepted my resignation.
After 10 years I got a good apportunity in Dubai. so, the new employer has applied for my visa and the application was rejected the labor department has told them that My status is absconding.
I contacted my previous company and spoke to the HR manager. He helped me to know my status in Labor and Immigration. He found that, They have filed an absconding case against me. Then they have submitted NOC in the labor to cancel my labor card, but they instructed to clear my status from the immigration to cancel the labor card. The immigration is saying as per their computer i am still in UAE. I sent them my passport copy which showing the exit stamp.
Then my company said they have to pay the penalty to cancel the absconding case against me so i sent the money. the compnay personnel unable to pay the money and solve the issue the money which i sent i got it back and they stoped my process completely.
they stoped my processing even the HR manager is not answering my phone calls. when i checked with one of the lawyer he said. may be my previous company is scared to hlep me because if they lift the absconding case the company will be black listed. According to UAE labor law the company can not file an absconding case if the person i out of the country.
i need help from any body who can give suggest me what to do and can give me some contacts for persons who can solve this issue legally. if somebody who can help please contact me on my email:
