Hi all,
Is there any policies, rules and regulation regarding women employee work Timings and Over Time work in the MNCs? Is there any act to restrict the work pressure of MNC employees? Some companies are distressing employees with their restless working hours. They are persisting the employees to work for more than 12 hrs per day without week offs and leaves, irrespective of the conditions.
Who can put a check to such type of Work Culture? Who can control this?
I would like to know the Indian HR policies for MNCs.Could you please clarify my doubt.
Thanks!!

It does not depend on the status on the organisation. Irespective of MNCs, indian companies, pertnership firms, proprotorship firm labour and employment law are applicable to all organisation.

These MNCs would have got exemptions from Labour Law.. The only solution I feel to resolve this problem is to approach the Human Rights Commission and tell them in writing the situation of the employees of the MNCs.
Also approach the High Court or the Supreme Court of India with proper statistics stating the problems of employees in MNCs which is even affecting the Marital life of those employees. I dont have the exact statistics, but to some extent I can say that the people coming to Family courts are employees of MNCs due to the mental pressure given to them at their work.. Not only for Women and it also for Men as well..
