I'd like to hear how others are processing promotions at their companies. We currently have a very tedious, manual process that includes:
Promotion planning from managers every quarter (a worksheet that shows all of the promotions managers are planning for their teams over the next quarter)
Smartsheets submission for monthly submission for approval
Entering promotion information into a letter and then sent to CEO for them to send to employee
Entering promotion information into HRIS
Entering promotion information into each relevant system (benefits provider, public-facing systems, etc.)
Saving letters into employee files
Each promotion takes almost an hour from start to finish to get everything updated. Any suggestions or anyone willing to share their process to see where I can make some improvements?
