I am working as sr. hr in a bpo sector and playing a generalist role ....but i always liked recruitment.....
Also i have two kids whom i shoud look after...i was just thinking that in case i start working as a freelance recruiter from home by gettning work from consultancies would i be able to earn as i am doing now.....am scared that after i leave this job it would be difficult to get a double digit salary only thru consultations, as it is very important for me to support my family monetarily......
I want ur valuable suggetions and opinions on whether i have to do a full time work or quit and start working at home....

The option is not without its difficulties. But you have to prioritise.
Which is more important - supporting the family monetarily OR raising the two kids?
once you have answered this question without a 50/50 issue the problem will be solved.
If raising your children is more important then please go ahead and take the decision to stay at home. In this case any money raised through the work at home option is valuable enough, irrespective of whether it is a double digit or single digit one.

Do understand, by staying at home you would also be saving money, which is equivalent to making money and what can be more rewarding than raising your children the way you want.
If career is more important at this stage then you should carry on with your company and request for an internal transfer to the recruitment vertical to do what you are keen on.

Hi!
Well this may not be the right time to become a freelance recruiter considering the market scenario.But it could be usefull in future as you would have made the neccessary contacts and experience by the time markets get back to normal.
And yeah again if monetary aspect is more important then this may not be the right time at all to get into freelance recruitments considering you already have good and stable job which is paying you well.
Whichever way you decide if you are open for associations then do let me know.

I am also feeling the same, I am not with familiy missing my daughter and all familiy members , yesterday i have seen viewed the power point interview with god and i was thinking all the night , i felt the same like you, i was a trainer previously ,i thought of going back to the same profession and better stay with familiy , the salary would be less , if there is any other possibilities please suggest , (Earning From Home)
