hello everyone.
I am the sole trainer in my organization I am going to hire new members for my team. I therefore request you to guide me how should I proceed with training these trainers? Would a train the trainer course help? Any other suggestions?

Dear Suman,
1.Training is more a matter of attitude than a profession. To be a trainer, once has to have a mindset of researcher. A good trainer needs to have the following:
a) A good command over English. I found many of the trainers weak in English.
b) A good trainer must have worked in HR or Marketing or Customer Service etc. He/she should have real life experiences on staff failures. He/she should have to his/her credit personal failures and successes.
c) In the course of working staffs always commit some sort of mistakes. these mistakes should always be recorded. A good trainer needs to have inventory of such failures where he/she can link it further in the various training modules like Communication Skills, Time Management, Managerial Skills and so on.
d) A good trainer needs to have right personality. His/her voice should be captivating.
e) A good trainer needs to have a free flow of verbal communication.
2. A person succeeds as trainer provided he/she has the above qualities. Where you do the "Train the Trainer" course it does not matter.

Thanks a lot for your response and offer to help. I am based in delhi and want to attend a session that gives me the opportunity to observe other trainers, get feedback on my training style, learn from other perspectives and update my own training skills.
The job requisition that I have put to my HR cites the similar skill set as you have mentioned.
I am hiring my team in a slow phase. May be one member in a months time and another in about 3 months (if I get lucky to find a good person!)
I am just confused about the process of getting them started once on board after the induction. Should I discuss the training methodologies and skills to start with or should I start with the product knowledge?
If they already have customer service experience, does it make sense to put them in the selling environment themselves before they start to train?
What do you think?

In the meanwhile please start attending the training programme conducted by other companies. You should have exposure of at least 10 trainers.
