Thanks a ton Mr. Prasenjit. I wanted a dummy data actually for my project as i am unable to get any data on calculation. I needed data for Cost Per hire and Turnover cost. Both metrics solved with an example and how to do the analysis of the same.
Kindly help me with this

Dear Swathi, What will you do if some one gave hypothetical data? Are you not supposed to collect data and say where and how you collected the data?

Dear Prasenjit, May we know how large is your organisation and whether you have an automatic system that calculates all the metrics?

Dear Simhan,
Though I am working in large organsiation (i.e. L&T Construction) and have worked with big organisations like Eureka Forbes & Magma Fincorp Ltd. But Unfortunately None of the organisation uses metrics based reporting.
I do it for my own analysis. and show to my management at the time of apprasial.
All the organisation I have worked were SAP implemented. So I used to fetch the data and prepare the metrics.

I know its difficult to use the hypothetical data but as per company policy constraints i had not been provided the data. In that case i just have the formulae and i dont know how to use those formulas. The organization for which i am making project is having around 200 employee. But i wanted to calculate cost per hire for one year and turnover cost for one year. So i needed exactly a solved example as to how we do this...

Sir, currently I am pursuing MBA in HR. When I took the HR metrics as my SIP topic, the organisation in which i took permission for carrying out my project regarding the topic had agreed to provide me the required data needed to calculate HR metrics. But now they are saying that they cannot provide any data as the company hr is in very busy schedule and is out of station. Now my synopsis have been sent to university my internal guide is refusing me change the organisation and the topic also. since I am not able to form a hypothetical data I want your help regarding this. I tried to search info available in net as much as possible but I didnt find any figures other than formulas for calculating hr metrics. can anyone help me out?
