Hi,
I worked for a company X for 3 years but they were not willing to shorten my notice period(90 days) even though I was not allocated to any project for a long time.
I resigned from X as I got a great offer from company Y who even agreed to take me without relieving letter.
Even after I resigned in March and gave 15 days notice, X sent me multiple show cause notices (to which I replied in time) and eventually a termination letter in April.
I fought with them for a year and finally got my clean relieving letter.
Now I am looking to switch to company Z, and I have all the letters but the joining date in Y's letter is around 20 days before the ending date in X's letter. Thus making an overlap.
What can I do about it now?

If the dates of X and Y showing overlapping, then it means dual employment which is not allowed under the labour laws.
