Have you explored the chances in your own company? They know your abilities/qualifications etc and this could help you in getting into HR in line with your newly acquired qualification.

The better option is to get the opportunity in the same organisation. Looking to change the domain in different companies will be bit difficult but still you can keep trying. At the same time its advisable to keep updating your skills to compete the market.

Dear Meerasudha,

Just 10 days ago, I conducted public workshop on "Developing Management Skills for Secretaries and Admin Staff" at Bangalore. In this workshop, I had included one of the topic as "Career Planning". You could have attended this workshop. Check the brochure of the workshop attached to this mail.

There are large number of Secretaries or Admin staff who are caught in the rut. They are unable to grow and need guidance on developing management skills or planning their career. Hence this workshop. Many of them have acquire long experience in their respective position and over a period of time their remuneration also grown. Now they cannot climb down and take some junior's role in other function. Therefore, their high remuneration puts them in disadvantageous position.

Provide me your contact details and whenever this workshop happens the training company that had organised this workshop, will send you the mailer.

Heading of your Post: - Your post is not about pursuing MBA through correspondence. Your post is about taking a new career path. Therefore, you should have given heading of your post as "Change in Career from Office Secretary to HR" and you should have uploaded your post in "Career Progression".

Thanks,
