There is no separate rule for part time employees. Only thing is that what all are the rules for full time employees will be available to part time employees as well. Accordingly, they are eligible for PF, ESI or other statutory benefits like bonus, gratuity etc. Regarding wages, they are to be paid minimum rates of wages as applicable to full time employees but in proportion to the hours they work in the establishment.
