hello everyone,
i have completed my graduation in BMS last yr from Mumbai university.. I am currently working in a KPO as a Research Associate... my current work ex is 1 yr.
I wish to pursue an MBA in HR...but will this work experience in the KPO industry fetch me any benefits? or will i be counted in par with a frehser and be given a salary package equivalent to a fresher's salary during the campus placement??
i have been recently offered a jobprofile of HR-Recrutiment in a leading BPO....should i switch over to that company or continue working in the KPO industry presuming that i will have some work experience to boast off while pursuing an MBA in HR?
I want to gain 2 yrs work exp before taking up MBA....and i will be glad if i can use this work-ex as an aid for MBA campus placement ... IS MY WORKING IN THE KPO INDUSTRY A WASTE CONSIDERING THE FACT THAT I WANT TO PURSUE A CAREER IN HR?
also what are the other HR roles that a graduate can be offered beside recruitment... i have been recieving lot of offers from HR consultancy for recruitment post....however i m not sure if i can gain good work experience and learning in the 'recruitment' profile!
Waiting in anticipation for your help...

Aim : U wana get into HR at last right?
Short Term Goal : U wana pursue MBA in HR.
concern : Switch over to HR Recruitment or not? Currently in KPO
Soln : C frm the above facts its clear and pretty much sure that u wana b in HR....well hypothetically say, u pursue in KPO...then when u finish ur MBA HR ...u r HR Experience would be preferred to KPO Industry work x.
So better get goin...into HR Recruitment...and once on job...u can justify ur MBA in HR.

Hi Vinod
Thanks so much for the help... but it still leaves me with doubts.... are recruitment profile in the consultancy worth trying for or should i target for an HR profile in the corporate alone?
Also what are the options normally available for a fresh graduate in the HR profile?
