Hello,
I have given 2 months notice period with my employer. I have taken 10 days leave when notice period ends. For Example, My relieving date May11, 2011. I have taken leave from May 01, 2011 to May11, 2011,
I just want to know, is there any issues in order to get relieving letter from the employer ? if there are issues, Can i pay notice cost for 10 days and get relieved ?
Thanks,
Sriram Rangarajan

It depends upon the relationship the employee has with the employer. In genuine cases there seems to be no problem in granting paid leave during the notice period. Regards, Madhu.T.K

Hi sriram,
If u took leave in the notice period then ur notice period ll be extended to the no. of days you have taken leave..
That is notice period will not include any leave that you take personally.

Hi Sriram, did you get proper approval of your leave from your immediate Supervisor/Boss. If he/she has approved your leave and allowed you, there is no need to worry about anything and also agree with Madhu.

Thanks Anil,
The total no.of leave taken during notice period is 10.
The thing is that the taken leave is being pre intimated and the leave has taken due to some personal emergencies.
Even, if there is an issue, the relieving date would be extended to 10 more days after that they must provide me relieving letter.
Am i right ?
