I have recently started Manpower consultancy in Hyderabad, Currently working for IT domestic recruitment, as part of expansion i want to start contract staffing for that they are asking for ESI Code and PF code. Whether i need to apply ESi under Contract Labour act or Shop & establishment act. Sugeest which one is Better

hi ravi u have to produce the ESI and PF No. for the staffing . if u are having more than 20 persons. ad per the act of contract labour.1970. regds

When you started the firm, required the details of employees strength month wise from the date of set up to till date. and whether your firm is pvt ltd company / partnership / proprietory.

Dear Ravi, Since you are starting contract staffing venture, it is better to have Contractor License as per Contract Labour Act, PF and ESI registration under the respective statutes. These become necessary to show you as a legal entity apart from the firm where your employees are going to be deployed. KK
