I joined a private engineering college in 1994 as a computer lab assistant. In 2017, all of sudden, management shut down the college. My salary from January 2017 till date is still pending. I have not resigned or been terminated till date. My full and final are pending till today. What should I do now against my employer?
Dear ANNONYMOUS Friend,
Your private engineering college shut down in the year 2017. You have not mentioned the month.
Your service is not terminated nor you resigned.
Your are paid till December 2016 and there onwards no salary is paid to you. Your claim is from January 2017 till date.
You may not be the only employee who is not paid the salary and with you so many other employees may be having the claim of salary from your college.
You are advised to unite and approach a good lawyer in your vicinity. Give him all facts and figures and go according to his advise.
Your matter may have different dimensions under ID Act, Payment of Wages Act etc.
