The basic document to be kept in hard form is Registration certificate and Muster rolls. The documents like service records, gratuity nomination form etc can be maintained in soft form since everything is 'online'. In Kerala also everything is online but it is online by all means and you need not go to any consultant's office to get it done nor do you require to visit the Labour Office to collect it. But in Karnataka you cannot click your curser on certain fields but you have to seek the help of 'consultants' engaged by the labour Inspectors! In effect it is offline only.
