Hi Manju,
The first thing you need to do to make your job easier is to get in touch with some training organisations and invite a proposal from them. Most of the part in your format will already be covered in the proposals sent to you. You can use this information plus the internal organisational requirements to create your final format.
Contents / methodology/ aids will usually wary as per the organisation finally selected for the training by your organisation.
We are a training and consulting organisation based in NCR. If you may require our services you may send your e-mail and contact number so that we may also send you our proposal for your requirement.
Hope this information was of use to you.

Hello Manju,
You could design the program as follows :
Target Audience : Identify the target audience - junior/mid - level/ senior who is to be imparted the training
Training Need Analysis : Analyse what aspect of communication each category needs to be trained in. Eg,
Senior Category - interviewing, consensus building, negotiation, consulting etc
Mid - level - giving & receiving feedback, presentation skills, speaking, listening, assertiveness etc.
Junior Managers - verbal & non verbal communications, written expression, telephone & email etiquette etc
( A ' one - size - fits - all' approach should be avoided )
Training Objectives : Based on the above, flesh out the training objectives for each level separately. Bloom's Taxonomy will be useful in framing the objectives
Training Design : Will include total duration, number of sessions, session plan, total number of participants, participants per batch, pre and post training assessment methodology etc
Training Content : Develop content(modules) separately for each level based on the needs & desired outcomes. There will be a mix of 3 elements - knowledge, skill & behaviour in most modules.
Training Methods/ Methodology : Use a mix of class room & experiential learning methodologies; will include use of ppts, AV clips, simulations, games & activities, question based discussions (QBD's), case studies, role plays etc
Training Aids : Projection system, assessment tools, equipment for activities, basic - whiteboard & markers
Training Providers[ Internal and External] : While it may be OK to use in - house resources for training employees at the junior level, it would be a good idea to consider external training partners to conduct programs for mid - level and senior employees - they will bring a lot of value to the table with their experience & expertise
Training Schedule ( including time/session, topic, Faculty with feedback sessions in between ): In essence, this could be a part of your training calendar and is only a matter of detail.
Trust you'd find the above inputs useful.
We have a specially designed program on Communication Skills called 'InSync' - its a paradigm shift from the way training in communication skills has been imparted till now. Am attaching the program brochure - am sure you'll find it interesting.
