I am a safety engineer with 1 yr exp from Pune. I want to switch over to the HR field. Is distance MBA HR a good option to do. If yes from which University?
Also, can I get into the HR domain without an MBA for starters??
Kindly help out.

Hi
It seems that you have just started your career and having only one year of professional experience. If it is true, then yes , the doors of HR profession are open for you. its a right time to choose your interest area and career field.
However, I wont suggest for DLP (distance learning ) course / MBA because it will not value add in your technical or functional knowledge of HR. Rather it is only an addition education qualification. Without having theoretical knowledge , you may find difficult to get through the interview as well in reputed organization.
But If you are hesitant to opt full time course, then I suggest executive MBA or part time MBA courses from good institute. By any means you get the opportunity to take transfer in your HR department, then you will be able to get onjob training in HR field as well.
