Hi Saby,
It is nice to hear that you are keen on doing more engagement activities.
I sugesst that you primarilly identify What is your objectives / purpose / what you would want to achieve from these empployee engagement initiative. Having done that you can then look at options / methodology to achieve them.Also executing a objective / purpose based activity / initiative would help you drive home the point better with the line guys, thereby highlighting the HR contribution to Ops.
You could firstly identify the purpose and share it with the citehr members who can then pour in their sugesstions.

Hi All,
I am new to this wonderful site. this website verymuch helpful for the freshers like us. I'm janaki, just completed my MBA from Osmania University. I have joined in a software company. i am told to take care of all HR activities. But for me its the first time i'm dealing with core HR activities.
I dont have idea how to move ahead and start my work. I have some knowledge on Recruitment and selection process. but payroll, compensation all these things are very much new to me.
Also i'm told to maintain employee database in the orgnization.
can anybody help me out regarding this.
