This is Pankaj, I am working in manufacturing co. I got salary re-structure letter from HR dept.
My basic salary increased, General allowance decreased and annual Bonus increase, PF also increased but CTC remain same. So, What are benefits and loss for me?

Hi it some times happen when restruction takes place. if there is increase in basic, it will have long term benefits.

If you are in taxable bracket, and your HRA, Conveyance allowance is decreased, for claiming IT reliefs, you will be in loss, to some extent . I don’t think there is benefit for you, with regard to this reconstructuring, for negotiating with your next employer, since ctc remains same.
