Dear Friends,
Please see the attachment for a simple Leave Policy. AS you are aware there is no specific leave policy as per the Acts. But as an HR person we have to framing the leave procedures and which will be useful to all the employees in the organizations and get the approval from the Management. While approving he management we have to explain the benefit to the employees concern as well as Management. If the Earned Leaves or Paid Leaves as getting accumulated abnormally, at any cost these leaves will be given to the employee while leaving the services at that time his salary may be high at that time while paying the leave balance amount it’s a burden to the Management. So that some leaves will be retain with the Management (Ex. 60 or 30) more than that every year in the month of January will be encash to every employee, so that he will be happy.

Dear Mam,
In our company we have PL and CL in leave policy and C-Offs.
Would like to ask if we can merge c-offs with other leaves or not?
what are the rules of availing CL and PL in a month?
Is it compulsory that employees covered under ESIC are not eligible to avail SL?
Thanks
Jyoti

Dear Jyoti ji,
For your quarry answer:
Would like to ask if we can merge c-offs with other leaves or not?
C-Off should not be merged with any other leave. Because the unavailable C-offs at the end of the year can be encashble. But as per the act the C-off will be utilised the next weekly off. The policy will be based on the management to management.
what are the rules of availing CL and PL in a month?
Please the Leave Policy which I mentioned in the Simple leave procedures.
Is it compulsory that employees covered under ESIC are not eligible to avail SL?
'NO' there is benefit under the ESIC for availing the Sick Leave. But that is upto the management to give a Sick Leave if there is in the policy.
