Dear All, This is Preeti Sharma. As per frequent demand from our employees we are going to develop a Saturday off policy in the company. Presently our working 6 days a week 10am to 6.30pm. I want to introduce Saturday off - Can u plz help me to develop this policy? & i want to convince both the ends management & employee with valid reasons.

Is mgmt is aware as you are planning for 5 days a week instead of 6 days a week? if so then you shall revise the office timings as 9.00-6.30 or even 9.30-6.30.
If you can brief your leave policy even that shall be revised and EL shall be reduced. :)

My Management is aware about this plan but they need a valid reason. We can change the timing but Saturday off is required. the company nature is hospitality at least office staff can avail this policy.

You said as there is frequent demand from all the employees. Using this statement you shall approach. If not there are chances employee turnover. You shall advice the management as this 5 days option will motivate employees.
I am not able to get what policy you are looking.
More over you shall even extend work timing for more 30mts a day & shall reduce the EL and other leaves.
