I think Mr. Shah could have ment like this
Vendor management - Handling consultants, Vendors of ID Cards (Attendance - Biometric machines) etc....
Branding - Establishing the company's brand in the minds and hearts of our most valuable internal asset - Employees, by implementing fun activities and others....
Finance Management - controlling the employee cost....
Hope I am right in some way.... if wrong plz do correct me...
