During the HR round, they mentioned that they would conduct the salary negotiation on the day after the weekend. When that day arrived, they asked me to fill out a candidate form and return it. Later on that day, I reached out to inquire about the status. Their response was, "Hi...few interviews are already lined up; we will confirm with you after the festival." This was because there were four days of festival holidays following the next day.
This position needs to be filled on short notice, within 15 days, which is why I followed up. I am eager to know whether the company is genuinely considering offering me the position or if it was just an excuse.
