Dear Neha,

The content of Pay slip vary from organization to organization. But one thing is common - Earning side and deduction side with net salary.

In your earning side there will be all components as per pay structure of the organization and in some months some special column for any specific payment - Bonus, LTA etc. In the deduction side there will be Statutory deduction - PF, ESIC, PTAX, ITAX if any, Loan/Adv recovery etc.

It is expected that your organization is processing pay roll with the help of excel in absence of any package. There may be some policy of determining daily wages - divided monthly salary by 30/ based on no. of days in the month / monthly salary multiplied by 12 and then divided by 365 or any other method.

Accodingly, all the components at earning side will be minimize proportionately for 8 days.

Thanks & Regards,
