Hi,
No need for working of 6 months. even if you have worked 1 day, you can withdraw the amount.
But as per the PF rules, there must be atleast 45 days gap of service (according to PF - means PF Payment is considered) before any withdraw is allowed. so wait till next month 15 and then apply. you need to fill up form 10c and 19 for withdraw. they are available in www.epfindia.com
cheers

Dear
It is not compulsory to work for 6 month for withdraw your PF. you can withdraw you PF after 2 month from Date of Leaving.
You will get you PF if you work less than 6 month. But for the Pension withdrawl it is compulsory to work for 6 month. if you work less than 6 month then you can not withdraw you Pension amount.
You can transfer the same by submitting Transfer form in you New company.

Your PF settlement will get through but not Pension.
In order to claim Pension Fund withdrawal your contributory period has to be more than 6 months, else employer's contribution to Pension Scheme is forfeited.
