Hi,
What is the Appraisal Cycle for your Company ? Is Appraisal is due by Apr of every year or any other Month ?
For New joiners depends on their DOJ you need to bring them to regular Appraisal cycle by providing mid increment.

Hi,
Understood. Make a common increment cycle for all employees preferably by June of every year.
For employees joining after June say for example by Jan, once they complete one year by subsequent January issue one part increment w.e.f. Jan and then again one more part on June thereby linking them to annual cycle. Same concept can applied for employees who joins in the middle of increment cycle.

what is the employee strength of your company. If more, then you can divide the cycle into 4 categories in a year, that is, 1st Jan, 1st April, 1st July and 1st October. Date of joining of employees fall in between, 1st Jan - 31st Mar shall fall in the first category, similarly, employees join in between 1st April to 30th June shall fall in the category of 1st Apr, like, DOJ fall in between 1st July to 30th Sept, their appraisal shall become due on 1st July, following year. Likewise, DOJ between 1st Oct to 31st Dec, shall fall due from 1st Oct following year.
Thus you will have four cycles in a calendar year.
