Dear Friend,

Before posting ANYTHING, why don't you just check whether it has already been posted in CiteHR or not?

Please don't waste others' time. Do some research on your own before posting.

- Please click this link. See what happens. You'll find that the same PPT has ALREADY BEEN posted as recently as 30th July by ssehgal1976:
https://www.citehr.com/183385-recession.html#post808324

- Same ppt, this time zipped and posted again on 24th June by muralidhar1966 :
http://citehr.com#post753503

- The same PPT posted again, and the poster expressed disappointment for not getting any responses; this time on 1st June by Mita Parmar :
https://www.citehr.com/167564-recession.html#post717502

- Same ppt posted again on 24th March by tavildar.meghha:
https://www.citehr.com/152695-hi.html#post646287

- The same PPT posted on 13th March by vivek991976:
https://www.citehr.com/150658-ppt-re...tml#post637318

- Same ppt posted with a few minor changes in a few slides, on 7th March by vijay_t57 :
https://www.citehr.com/149630-recession.html#post633299

- Posted again on 5th March by Piyush Bansal:

- Again, the same ppt posted on 2nd March by pradeep25:
https://www.citehr.com/148506-about-...tml#post628573

- Once again, the same ppt, though the poster did not start the thread, on 20th Feb., by Vikram Paneri:
[url]https://www.citehr.com/146335-how-face-recession.html

- The same ppt was posted on 19th Feb. by aravind karanth:
[url]https://www.citehr.com/146623-what-recession-effects-solution.html#post620479

- Before that, the same PPT was posted on 5th Feb. by vinayakumar:
[url]https://www.citehr.com/144376-must-read-what-recession.html#post610786

- Earlier to that, the same PPT was posted on 14th Jan. by muruki:

Well, this may not be an exhaustive list. If you wish, you can search this site for more such instances. It would be interesting to know who was the first poster.

I agree that site members don't have time to check whether the same ppt has been posted earlier; hence, they thank every poster and post as if it is manna from heaven.

But, the posters who start the thread must exercise this basic responsibility, to check whether the material has been posted earlier?

I wish to suggest to CiteHR administrator that if any member is found guilty of posting repeat material, he should be banned.

Unsuspecting people should not be taken for a ride (they shower the poster with their thanks, obligations, and praise - while the poster must be gloating and laughing to himself); and nor should the members who have already seen the article be made to suffer again and again.

Dear Shanmugam,

Thank you for an outstanding PPT. You have put in a lot of effort and hard work. Do you have any PPT on the budget? May I also have your email ID? Thanks once again.

Regards,
Lt. Col. (Retd) AE Charles

Dear Raj,

It is true that sometimes we waste our time on repetitions. Many times, I wrote the same thing that is already on this site. Moderators, please take care. People simply search for the PowerPoint presentations on SlideShare, Kamyabology, or About.com, and then post them on this site with their names.

Thanks and regards.

Hi,

Nice PPT. I have to do research paper on development economics (i.e., agriculture and growth, trade, energy and environment, industry, or some related topic) that must involve regression analysis. Can you please help me with how I should proceed with it.

Thank you, Rajpol, for your support.

Despite my mail, people keep on thanking the poster - tshanmugammba. I think the reason is members just download the PPT, look at it, and then simply post their comments - they should go through the whole thread and see others' responses as well. It's so ironic and pathetic to find a Lt. Col. (Retd.) thanking a plagiarist - all in good faith; and the person must be laughing his a-- off at all these thanksgivings for "the pain he has taken in making this PPT." It is a tiresome, difficult crusade, but I shall continue to do my bit in pointing out and unmasking plagiarism on the net and especially in this forum.

Thanks and regards.
