Hi,

I have joined as an HR professional in the industry. I was assigned the task of framing HR policies for a company that previously had no HR policy in place. Could anybody please provide me with HR policies from different companies so that I can review them and make amendments as per our requirements?

Dear Uvashree,

It is a great opportunity to be assigned the posted task. Whereas, you have to frame the HR policy for a company, which can't be done by following others. You need to discuss with the top management for inputs before you frame the foundation of the policy.

Policy-making is an easy task:
1. First, request the top management to deploy a panel for policy-making, to frame, refine, and finalize the policies.
2. Start with Recruitment. Frame the policy for recruitment. It must start with the Job Description Template, candidate details tracker, Call letter mail format, Interview Evaluation form, and so on, subject to your company's requirements.
3. Then, proceed with the immediate functionalities following recruitment - Induction program, leave policy, Employee handbook, reference check policy, T&D, PMS, and so on.

Policy-making is nothing but documenting the rules of the company and developing the forms and templates to be used for the same.
