Hi Bijaya,
If you are talking about the Internal Employee newsletter, I have some tips for you. I am currently handling our Internal Employee Newsletter in my current role.
You can go with A3 size newsletter.
The first page should contain achievements for that month in your organization. For example, if there is any recognition program in your organization like Star Performer of the month, include a small write-up on the performer of the month and a write-up on a department every month.
An interesting article could be "Know Your Colleague." Interview any of your old, loyal, or exceptional employees to reveal their inner and personal sides. You can also include a "Corporate Hero" article focusing on corporate giants like Ray Kroc from McDonald's, Sunil Mittal of Bharti, Shiv Nadar of HCl, and so on. Additionally, consider including a "Corporate Cartoon," birthday wishes for employees, news from the organization such as updates on colleagues' life events like marriages or births, and expressions of support for colleagues facing challenges.
For additional content ideas, consider health tips, horoscopes, jokes, or any other fillers. Lastly, encourage employees to contribute by sharing shayaris, short stories, or anything else.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Regards,
Kiran.

Hey Shubha,
This is really interesting. I was just browsing through the pps and found it very interesting. I am in the process of filling in "news" and thought I'd use it actively as we don't have any kind of internal communication in this new workplace I have just joined. A very useful tool. Thanks!

Sorry for replying too late. There are a few sites for some excellent corporate cartoons and quotations. Please find them below:
For corporate cartoons: www.glasbergen.com
For quotes, the best site I have ever found is: www.quotegarden.com
Hope the above sites would be useful for at least some people in this forum.

Hey guys,
I now have the responsibility of preparing the newsletter in my vertical too. But I am completely new to this part. The newsletter actually should not be like a Word document. I guess it should be more like a presentation, with animations and navigation. I am really not sure how to create such a newsletter. Can anyone here help me out, please?

It sounds very interesting," Kiran explained. "I am considering having something like this newsletter in our organization too. If there are any samples of newsletters or interview options, please send them to me as well.
Thank you.

Dear Shruti and others,
I am attaching herewith the newsletter that I put out every month. The points to remember are as follows:
1. Have a short, crisp, and catchy name for your newsletter.
2. Form an editorial team with 2-3 more people. Never take sole responsibility for publishing news.
3. Avoid regularly publishing content readily available on the internet. Occasionally, it's acceptable as a filler.
4. Encourage people to contribute their ideas and experiences. Consider announcing prizes.
5. Decide on some regular features and adhere to a specific format.
6. When preparing the contents, put yourself in the shoes of employees.
7. Continuously seek feedback, formally or informally, to enhance your newsletter.
Good luck.
