Krantidevi,

90% of the balanced scorecard is run on intelligent software. You have to just copy and paste whatever information you receive. This tool is a bureaucratic tool and has little to do with HR. Mostly it deals with overall business performance.

Indians only copy and paste entire material; they hardly adhere to BSC principles; otherwise, they cannot do business. All companies that have used this BSC have gone bankrupt in this recession.

Dear all,

Best wishes for Holi.

I was working at one reputed Pharma Company as a Manager - P&A from July 2006 to December 2008. I left this company on December 31, 2008. To date, they have not paid me my Full & Final Settlement. Additionally, a 20% Bonus was part of my CTC. They have not paid me the bonus from April 1, 2007, to December 31, 2008. Can you assist me in obtaining my Full & Final Settlement and Bonus?

Dear Anand,

What is the company's policy on settlement, i.e., is there any waiting period for settlement? Have you completed the handing over and clearance process properly? Have you left the organization after serving the required notice? Is the bonus 20% a fixed component or a variable component?

Since you have handled an important profile for a quite a long period, if you have left the organization on a good note, you can follow up with HR or P&A in charge. If they are not of much help, then contact your ex-superior. Adopt a correct approach. Don't pressure them or threaten them. There should be a valid reason for the delay in payment. Try to find out. In many occasions, the settlement is done mainly due to the rapport the ex-employee had with HR & superiors.
