I am Roshni, currently pursuing MBA (HR & systems). Right now, I am doing a project on competency mapping and multiskilling in project personnel through the Six Sigma methodology in an IT company. Could you please share your experience on how you are proceeding? I was getting confused about how to proceed. Currently, I have completed the Define Phase and Measure Phase of the Six Sigma Methodology, i.e., problem identification and measuring the current performance. I have identified the roles in the organization and technical and behavioral competencies. Please guide me on how to proceed. I hope that you will reply.

There are various reasons for which the results of competency mapping could be used, for example, to make decisions regarding Performance Appraisal, identify training needs, make the selection system more effective, and many more.
