People may get irritated when the same information is repeated many times. I suggest that you search for the relevant topics and gather the necessary information yourself. If you encounter any difficulties, feel free to reach out to me for assistance.

EPF stands for Employee Provident Fund, which is contributed by both the employer and employee in the organizations. PF is calculated at 12% on the basic salary or 780/-, whichever is lower. An employee is eligible to withdraw PF after 2 months of resignation. Form-10 and Form-19 should be filled and submitted to the HR Department for withdrawal. It takes a minimum of 40 days to receive the amount from the PF office after submission. Form-13 is used for transferring PF accounts from one organization to another.

Dear friends,
I want to know about the PT. Can anybody help me out? My doubt is if the company has branches in other states and the salary of employees is transferred through the net, do we have to deduct PTax as per the employee's residing state or from where the salary is transferred?

Dear Manju,
I worked at Kidao Laboratories in Mogappair, Chennai from August 2007 to July 2008. I contributed to the PF for 10 months from my salary. However, they did not provide me with a PF number. Even after submitting my PF form along with a photocopy of my bank account statement immediately upon resignation, they assured me that they would process it and deposit the amount into my bank account within 90 days. Unfortunately, I have not received any PF amount in my account yet. When I visit the office, they do not respond to me properly. Therefore, I am considering taking legal action. Additionally, I have learned that some workers before me also did not receive any amount for over one and a half years. Could you please advise me on how I can proceed to obtain my PF amount?
Thank you.
