Dear Vidhya,

I would like to suggest something. You can ask all your employees to decorate the office in the way they like according to their religion. This will create a great sense of unity in the company, and they will also enjoy the celebration.

I think you should ask all employees for their suggestions & views towards this celebration. This should give you lots of ideas & will surely make your employees happy…. By being a part of any welfare decision.

Dear VR,

As per my knowledge in Mahabharat, Arjun took out his weapon from the Shami Tree to start the battle with Duryodhan on Vijaya Dashami. Since then, the worship of tools has been done on this day. So, the worship of machinery is important in my view.

Hi,

I have organized the following activity for my company. We will start the celebration at around 4 pm on the last working day of Diwali. We will begin with a small meeting defining the importance of the occasion. We will then divide the company into small groups and have rangoli competitions and decoration of Diyas, which will be lit on Diwali. Lastly, we will announce the winner of the Rangoli competition and give Diwali gifts to all. This way, the whole office will also be decorated for Diwali.

More inputs are welcomed.

Regards, Megha

We at our organization do the following things one day before Diwali: decorate the office with flowers, rangoli, and ribbons, make arrangements for panditji and puja around 11 am, have a grand lunch at approximately 1:30 pm, distribute gifts, sweets, etc., and close the office around 4 pm as most employees need to leave for out-of-town celebrations with their families.

Ayudha Pooja is a day which all the staff look forward to participate in my company.

The previous Sunday, we had a sports day, which started with a good breakfast, followed by sports and games, and then afternoon lunch. Throughout the week, in the evenings after office, we have indoor games.

On the Ayudha Pooja day morning, we have breakfast, followed by cultural programs for the staff and their kids. Our MD addresses the gathering about the future plans of the company, there is a prize distribution, and then a pooja for the machineries, concluding with a good lunch.
