The new labor code will come into effect from the date of Gazett Notification by the appropriate Government.
The appropriate Government means i.e, State Government and Central Government,as the case may be.
All PSU, Ports, Airport,Railways and Mines to follow the Central Government notification date as the specific timeline. All other establishment than above are to follow the state Govt notification is the effective date to implement the new labor code.
