Hey friends!
I need suggestion here ( and no preaching please or giving standard answers), need some serious solution here.
A candidate (BBA-Finance) ( non IT - managerial role) has frequent job loss (tenure 6- 11 months each and one for 3 yrs) left most due to PIP. As finding next job become difficult, lead to unemployment time gap (7 months to 1.5 year). When honestly declared in the resume , no recruiter were called even for first round of interview. With no choice left, in the resume the gaps were filled and previous employer shown as continued employment and thus next job was achieved. But again in the subsequent job, lost the job. The problem isn't the candidate domain knowledge, but in all the jobs the problem was insubordination from subordinates and office politics. No attitude issue or impolite behavior. Now the problem was though he didn't want to fake his experience but given the recruiter's taboo for not inviting for interview such candidates, he had no choice but to fill the unemployment gaps. Today around 9 company are in the resume and even the last job was lost ( 2024) as sales target wasn't achieved while all other parameters were better than rest. Now the candidate is pursuing MBA - Finance (Apr 2025) and also appearing for ICAI - CMA inter ( June 2025). From Operations support function now wish to change career to finance. Also looking for job in finance based on the education and few certification. Now he's pretty confident both MBA and CMA inter will be cleared. Now again trying for job, what should the candidate do? How should he look for job? Should try again to fill the employment gap (considering these background verification investigation)? Need to start again somehow, what will be the right and effective roadmap to go for? Also does every company does BGV or in certain cases. Should I take the risk (atleast to get the launch)?
