Hello Sir/Mam, I had joined a company and just stayed there for a day to complete my onboarding formalities. But It was very far from my home, and it was tough to commute. Hence, I see I discussed the same with 1 of the recruiters, and I was advised to surrender the laptop on 2nd day. However, on the 3rd, I received a call from my primary recruiter and was told to collect the laptop and complete the exit formalities (once I get a call from the exit team to complete exit formalities).

But to my surprise, I didn't receive any call or mail from the concerned team, and the primary recruiter stopped picking up my calls or mail. Hence, to be on the safer side, I resigned by normal Gmail and informed the recruiter of the same, both by mail and message. Thereafter, I started receiving mail and letters to pay the FNF settlement to the company, and they are harassing me on the same. Hence, let me know what to do.

Who is the recruiter?
Who is the primary recruiter?
Are they the employees of the company where you joined and worked for two days?
What is FNF? If it is F&F or Full and Final Settlement, why should it be paid to the company? It is payable to the employee and not payable by the employee.
What kind of harassment they make?
Share us the details so that we can advise further on it.

I think he is referring to the FULL & Final settlement, where the company is asking him to pay notice period since he resigned with immediate effect. Its valid legally, though difficult to enforce.
