I am looking after the outsourced contractual security services in my institute. The total strength of contractual security guards is 225. Every time the contractor comes with a different formula while calculating the monthly salary bill of the security guards. I do know that he is trying to make a fool of the system. I am trying my best to ensure that the security guards on contract get their hard-earned money properly.
Can any one of you please guide me on how to calculate the monthly wages of security guards, whether it should be for 26 days or 31 days? This calculation should include PF, ESIC, and Bonus. For example, 612 is the minimum wage rate for the watch and ward duties. If a guard works for 26 days, what should be his wages, and how should we include the paid rest holidays?
Kindly provide a brief with the calculation formula and also a sample wage slip giving full details of the wage breakup.
