Hi All, We have employees deputed to various Organizations. In one such Org. there was an employee who was terminated on account of Security Breach. He was not given any relieving or experience later.
But now ex-employment verification for the same employee has been requested. It was shocking to find relieving letter being attached by them is being faked and right from the logo till the employer signature and it is abruptly seen.
Now my question is how to go in for further procedures?
Should we talk with the previous employee regarding this?
Legally what steps should be taken?
Thanks in Advance

Hi Supriya,
In case if the employee has forged the documents and in this case it is the relieving letter, I would suggest you to contact previous employer (HR Dept) and get it checked.
In case, the agree that the document is forged, then that employee is not eligible for hiring. He the employee is already hired, then the current employer has complete rights to terminate him / her from the employment on the base of forgery.
