Dear Seniors,

If the PF Calculation, Employee Share 12% is going correctly into Employee share (EPF Contribution (EE Share)), But the Employer share 12% (8.33% & 3.67%) is wrongly uploaded means like EPS Contribution due is 3.67% and Diff EPF and EPS Contribution ER Share 8.33%.

Please guide me on how to handle this situation and find a solution.

Rekha M.

Hi Rekha M.,

The only way to solve your problem if you have already paid the PF challan is to generate a new correct ECR and challan (of the same final amount value) and give the ECR text and a self-certified PDF to the PF office for correction. Only the PF office can help you. Do it fast; otherwise, employees' withdrawals will be affected.

With the online portal today, can such a mistake happen ? I thought it will verify and post based on the basic salary you uploaded .....

Hi @saswata,

It is just a data dump. The EPF portal does not verify anything. Mistakes can happen if you prepare ECR through XLS conversion to CSV. I guess the columns were exchanged by Rekha M.
