Do we all still follow the age-old Excel or Word document evaluation sheets during the interviews, or is there a better way to do this? Does anyone know of a software tool that makes the process simpler and cleaner?

Dear Mr. Suddsvr,

In recent times, there have been many technological software programs that support human life with ease. Jeevarathnam ji rightly pointed out about "investments" -- if the employer had to cover all expenses, then I believe they wouldn't need humans to work. Machines and automation would dominate as the primary resources.

Human resources shine at their best and take center stage only when employers recognize their value. Therefore, to maintain an employee record or file system, one needs nothing else but a Word document.

Thank you.

Dear Suddsvr,

Are you asking any questions to gather information for your market research? Is the underlying idea behind asking questions to promote your own product? I ask this because you have not shared any of your personal details, such as the type of company in which you work or your designation. You have even concealed your name.

Secondly, you have not mentioned the limitations you face when using forms created in MS Word or MS Excel.

Good documents are essential and also cost-effective. There is an option to create forms on Google Docs. You can create a customized form and keep it for as long as you need. Since these are online forms, sharing them is much easier.

Lastly, my dear friend, let me tell you that a job interview is a filtration process, and this filtration works best when the interviewer asks quality questions. Keeping the Interview Evaluation Sheet is merely a clerical task in the larger recruitment process.

Ok...

Dear Dinesh,

It's funny how, instead of seeing a question in a good light, we start popping up with additional questions, doubting why a person asked a question. Was it with hidden motives to promote a product, or spy on our information? Skepticism runs deep in our society. Take it lightly, Dinesh. If I had to promote a product, I'll write about it upfront.

Since you need detailed information about me to answer a simple question, here is some food for thought. I am an Indian who speaks Hindi, eats vegetarian food, and runs a travel company. Should you need further information that may help you share a productive answer, I'll be happy to share.

Regards,
Sudds

Evaluation Sheets During Interview:

For what tests are evaluation sheets used during interviews? We utilize an office copier worth 1.5 lakhs, which has already been invested in by our office for printing, scanning, and other functions. Additionally, we utilize a free OMR Software to conduct recruitment tests for our exams. The results for 1000 candidates are evaluated, corrected, and published within 20 minutes.

If you possess a good quality, fast ADF scanner, you can download a free OMR answer sheet software to conduct only objective type recruitment tests.

I hope this information aligns with what you are seeking.
