Dear Samasur, any HR FUNCTIONS can be initiated in a HR department. But before taking any new initiatives you should first ASSES the NEEDS of taking that new initiative.

I don't have that much knowledge to give advice on MOTIVATION for a PRACTICAL situation. However, the primary purpose of MOTIVATION is to increase the rate of employee PRODUCTIVITY. Therefore, enhancing MOTIVATION in an organization is a bit complex. Applying MOTIVATION concepts into application, managers should be careful about the following procedures:
1) RECOGNIZE individuals as not alike.
2) DESIGN jobs to align with individual needs.
3) MAKE individuals' goals balance with Organizational Goals.
4) ACKNOWLEDGE Feedback.
5) ALLOW employees to participate in Decision Making that affects them.
6) LINK suitable Rewards to Performance.
7) CHECK the Reward system for Equity.
