To enhance employee engagement, you can arrange activities like a Rewards & Recognition program, Secret Santa for all, a treasure hunt at the workplace, or a traditional office decoration contest. Hope this helps!

Hi,
Check out the following link and read the replies which have some interesting suggestions:

In addition, depending on the number of employees and/or teams, you can organize a 'Christmas Carol' singing competition among the various teams. Alternatively, approach one of the nearby church youth groups well in advance and get them to come and sing the carols at your workplace. You can make copies of the carols they will sing and distribute them to your employees to encourage them to sing along.
You can even allot (maybe by a draw of lots) different teams to do the following to brighten up the office, share the Christmas spirit, and ring in the New Year. Budgets for each team will be allocated by the management or the HR coordinating this event:
Team A - To Make the Christmas Tree
Team B - To Make a Crib
Team C - Decorate the office
Team D - To Organize the party games/entertainment
Team E - To Organize the snacks/dinner
Team F - To Work out an outreach to an old age home/orphanage/hospital, etc. (you can combine this with some more teams)
Hope these suggestions trigger more ideas and that you have a wonderful Christmas celebration.
Regards

Hey, thanks Kiran and ACT for your valuable and prompt response. Yes, we have decided to play Secret Santa game, and we have also segregated teams and allocated work related to office decoration.
We have already completed the Bay decoration and painting. Now, we are looking for some ideas on contests that can be played between the various teams. Please share any ideas you may have.
Thanks! Megha

Hi Megha,
Arrange:
1. A quiz covering the important events of the year 2012.
2. Call for the expectations of individuals in 2013.

Hi Monika,
Regarding the contests, you can consider either having a Christmas tree decoration contest, a skit contest - where you can either assign the same theme to all the teams or let them choose different themes by drawing folded chits, or an Office Scavenger Hunt.
I hope these ideas are helpful for your event planning.
Best regards,
