One cannot have multiple live EPF accounts. If you have more than one account, it is against the law, and you will be punished for engaging in dual employment. If your old and inoperative PF account is still available, please close it and transfer the money to your current account or to your present organization's existing PF account.

No only single ac is applicable.if anyone to contribute more than he contribute as voluantary pf not exceeding 12%.

Good morning. I do not agree with you. If a member has dual accounts in the same period, that is not against the law. I have not read any documentation in the EPF Act regarding this matter. If you have, please send it to me. If a member is doing part-time service and the employer agrees to deduct EPF, then there is no problem if the employee has dual accounts for the same period.
