Dear Mr. John,

Thank you for the detailed write-up. It was a good one. I recently heard an ex-Air Force personnel explaining about the mock drills conducted in the Air Force. In the Air Force, the primary emergency identified is an attack by the enemy. If India were to be attacked, the first threat would be on Air Force Stations due to their ability to reach destinations rapidly and counter-attack effectively.

I am curious about how they practice these mock drills. Do they layout all buildings and offices for display?

Thank you.

Dear All,

In continuation with the above reply, the layout of all buildings and offices is displayed. The evacuation route for every single employee is pre-decided. Bunker numbers for all employees are predetermined. The position of every individual to be occupied in the bunker is also pre-decided. Head count is conducted with the flashcards given to the employees. During actual mock trials, any gaps in the above-mentioned requirements are identified, and further corrective actions are taken.

I was fortunate to listen to the ex-airforce employee on this matter in a training program.

Thanks & Regards,
Sudhir
