Hello seniors,

Can anybody tell me what's the relation between HR and a Master's in Social Work (MSW)? I have completed my PGD(IRPM) and am looking to pursue a master's degree. Should I go for MSW or an MBA (correspondence) while working in HR?

Please help me.

Thanks,
Deepti

Dear Deepti,

If you are planning to do MSW with HRM, then it's equivalent to an MBA degree. MSW with HRM/PMIR & LW candidates are getting good jobs in HR. However, MSW is not a correspondence or part-time course; you need to do it full-time.

Dear Deepti,

I do not have any idea about Delhi, but I can suggest that you pursue it from TATA INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SERVICE (TISS) in Mumbai, KARVE INSTITUTE OF SOCIAL SERVICE in Pune, or NIRMALA NIKETAN in Mumbai. You can also search for more options on Google.
