Hello everyone, my name is Ashfaq. I have completed my MBA in HR and am a fresher. However, I have worked part-time in the retail sector for the past 5 years. Now, I am getting an offer in the retail sector rather than in HR. Can you advise me on what I should do?

If you are MBA in HR by choice and not by chance, choose recruitment job, coz working in retail that too in non-hr is of no-worth if you want to make career in HR.

Dear Ashfaq,

A job in a consultancy at an initial level is a good decision. It gives you good exposure to recruitment for various industries and companies for varied profiles. Also, you can move towards corporate gradually. But, it takes time.

Thank you so much, everyone, for your valuable suggestions. Can anyone tell me what type of questions are asked by recruiters in consultancy jobs? Please reply with both questions and answers. Also, which type of consultancy job should I select?

2) What will be your approach towards Head Hunting?
3) How will you calculate Cost per Hire? Or other Recruitment Metrics?
