I have 2.5 years of total exp in HR & Recruitment. I have taken a 4 year long gap due to family reasons and now am looking out for a HR- Generalist job opening in Bangalore. Will this gap affect my right oppurtunity? also my last drawn CTC was 2.2 L p.a; what can I expect?

Yes. The long gap will have impact, only the thing that your knowledge and expertize in the domine may support you in getting a good opening, in every interview the interviewing people ask for the reasons and you have to explain them and convince.
I opine that you should look for an opening and after that you can think about CTC.
