One cannot identify the genuineness of these kinds of payslips as you yourself can edit them. Just convert them into a Word document through a PDF converter and do whatever you can.

Secondly, if you are an HR professional, develop the quality so that the concerned person will speak the truth themselves.

Normally, reimbursements are not depicted on Payslips. Here, medi. reimbursements and conveyance (more than 800) are mentioned. HRA is more than 50% of basic which is not permitted. Pon

Hi,

If it seems to you fake due to basic and supplementary allowance, I have the salary details of the same company in Maharashtra attached here, which shows the same difference between basic and S/A.

I hope this will clear your doubt.

Thank you.

Hi,

It is a fake payslip for sure. The first thing is that the conveyance amount is restricted to Rs. 800 per month. Even if a higher amount is paid, it should not be shown on the payslip. Secondly, the medical amount should be Rs. 15,000 per year, but it exceeds that here. Thirdly, bonus details are never provided on a payslip but are usually mentioned in the breakup summary.

Therefore, I strongly believe this is a fake payslip.

It should be taken as genuine since the position is of "Business Development Manager" in an Insurance Company. On sales (new policies), the Business Development Manager has various benefits upon achieving the target of acquiring policies. It is common in Insurance Companies for there to be bye-laws or benefits offered to sales/field staff, including department-wise incentives. This may not be applicable to the office/clerical staff who are compensated based on different incentives, and it can also vary. I do not think that this so-called supplementary allowance is general to all employees of a company. However, the basis of the "slip" is not to assess the person but his income tax matters.
