Dear Chaitu,
I am enclosing the IT Act 2000 for your reference.
We can maintain all the statutory records in soft copy with the prior approval from the appropriate authority (Factories - Director or Factories Office; Construction - Labour Commissioner Office; Mines - District Mines Office; etc).
We can maintain the employees' attendance through a biometric attendance/access system so that no other than authorized workers will get access to the work premises. With this access, the exact timing of the workers and their wages can be prepared without much difficulty.
The effect of gate control systems on workers of factories and construction industries can be maintained.
These are some of the benefits of IT in the IR field. Let us expect feedback from other members.
